Can the photographer complete a job without a realtor or homeowner present?

Absolutely, we handle both vacant and lived in properties that are on lockbox on a regular basis. All of our photographers are familiar with lockboxes and know how to use them. For Sentrilock lockboxes, we will need a one day code. You can either include it in the order details or email us at support@dcvideos.com once you create it.

How far in advance to I need to schedule a shoot?

We can schedule a shoot with as little as 24 hour notice. However, we do ask that you give us as much notice as possible to ensure that you can be scheduled in the timeslot that you may request. The more advance notice you give, the easier it is to get the exact time slot you would like, but we will do our best to accommodate your schedule in every situation.

How do I reschedule or cancel a shoot?

We ask that you give us as much notice as possible to avoid any fees that may apply. If you need to cancel or reschedule a shoot, please contact DC Videos via support@dcvideos.com or (703) 282-6011. The enables us to make adjustments and communicate promptly with our photographers. We understand that unexpected issues occur and appointments need to be flexible. However, there will be a cancellation fee of $50 administered to any appointment cancelled or rescheduled within two hours of the orginially scheduled appointment. We have this rescheduling fee to compensate our photographers who, often, are already on the way to your appointment, for their time and gas.

What are your turnaround times?

We deliver all edited photos within 24 hours of your appointment. You will recieve your photos the morning after the shoot. Videos typically take 2 days to process and be delivered.

How will the photographer know my personal photography perferences?

There is a designated area on our booking form where you can specify if there are areas that you would like the photographer to focus on or avoid. Typically we do not photograph closets, utility rooms, extra storage units, or garages unless specifically requested. If you would like one or more of these areas the be photographed for one or all of your listings, be sure to request such the designated area, and we will also notate your preferences in our system.

How long does a typical photoshoot last?

Depending on the real estate photography package you have selected and the size of the property, your appointment can take anywhere from thirty minutes to an hour and fifteen minutes. To ensure that your appointment runs quickly and smoothly as possible, please make sure that the house is clean and photo-ready.

How will I recieve my photos and/or video?

We will send you a download link from support@dcvideos.com where you can review and download all of your photos. When the video is ready, we will send you an email with the download and review link to your unbranded video as well as a specially formatted link that you can copy and paste into the MLS. If you have requested a branded video, you will recieve that as well.

How can virtual staging benefit my listing?

Virtual Staging is an amazing tool to show off the potential of a room or space to potential buyers online. Our expert photo editors painstakingly add furniture to to a room digitally making sure the shadows and lighting and perspective is just right so that it will look completely realistic. This allows you to show off a room in all of it's potential glory without having to spend a ton of money on renting furniture. This is an easy and hassle free way of showing off your listing in the best possible light. We can also remove old furniture or undesireable features of a house like bad rugs roughed up walls or exposed wires.
